Lynda is a partner at Thompson Dorfman Sweatman LLP having practiced with the firm since her call in 2004. Lynda’s practice is focused in the area of civil and commercial litigation and administrative law. Since 2009, Lynda has served on a variety of committees at the Law Society of Manitoba and was a bencher of the Law Society from 2014-2022. In 2020-2021, she served as the 100th President of the Law Society of Manitoba. Lynda is now the Manitoba representative at the Federation of Law Societies. Lynda was named a Rising Star, Top 40 under 40, by Lexpert Magazine in 2019 and has been recognized by the same publication since 2019 as being a leader in Litigation and Dispute Resolution. She received Benchmark Canada’s Emerging Talent Award for Manitoba in 2018 and has been ranked as a Litigation Star by Benchmark Canada since 2018. Lynda has published in the Annual Review of Civil Litigation twice. First in 2011 and then in 2022 Lynda also taught at the University of Manitoba for several years, teaching both Legal Methods and Remedies. Adriana Pawlowsky, Vice-Chair Chair: Finance & Audit Committee, Committee: Investment X Adriana Pawlowsky, Vice-Chair Dana Erickson, Secretary Chair: Governance Committee, Committee: Finance & Audit BIO X Dana Erickson, Secretary Dana has spent his career in the public sector, primarily in health care. He is a professional accountant and has a strong sense of giving back to his community. Dana’s career includes executive leadership roles as the Chief Executive Officer at Manitoba Possible and the Chief Operating Officer at Health Sciences Centre. Some of his many volunteer roles include the United Way Winnipeg, Scouts Canada, Certified General Accountants [CGA] Association of Manitoba, and the Pan American Games. Dana attended the University of Manitoba to receive his Bachelor of Arts (Mathematics) and continued his education to receive his accounting designation. he has continued to share his knowledge by being a course instructor at the University of Manitoba, and a speaker for numerous healthcare and management conferences. Dana and his wife Patti, now empty nesters, raised a family of five children and are now enjoying time with their two dogs. Dana joined the Victoria Lifeline and Victoria Hospital Foundation Board of Directors in the beginning of 2024 after recognizing all of the touch points has has had at Victoria Hospital over the years, from being a patient himself to having friends and family who have also received care there. With his extensive background in the healthcare industry, and being from the south end of Winnipeg, joining the Victoria Lifeline and Victoria Hospital Foundation boards was a perfect match. Todd Andres BIO X Todd Andres Todd is a lawyer at Pitblado LLP with over 18 years of experience. He received his law degree from the University of Manitoba in 2006 and was called to the Bar in 2007. Todd is active in the community and his professional association as a Life Council Member of the Manitoba Bar Association. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Victoria Hospital Foundation and Victoria Lifeline. Todd regularly presents on topics relating to human rights, accommodation, and labour relations and was a sessional lecturer at Robson Hall teaching labour relations law. Jasmine Brar Committee: Development BIO X Jasmine Brar Jasmine Brar is a dedicated community leader, parent, and advocate who has proudly called Waverley West home for the past two decades, where she lives with her husband, two children, and family dog, Teddy. Having immigrated from India to Canada at the age of 16 and graduating from Pembina Trails schools, she is passionate about public education, community engagement, and building strong, inclusive communities. A tireless advocate, Jasmine is committed to supporting individuals and families at every stage of life, with a focus on education, health and mental health, community safety, and seniors’ well-being. She is also deeply committed to reconciliation and fostering communities where everyone feels valued, safe, and has the opportunity to succeed. Jasmine serves as Business Manager, Strategic Projects and Accreditation Unit with the Rady Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Manitoba. She also serves on the University of Manitoba Board of Governors and as a Senator representing the Rady Faculty of Health Sciences. She is the Founder and President of the Prairie Pointe Neighbourhood Association, where she champions community engagement and initiatives that strengthen neighbourhood connections and improve quality of life for all residents. As a School Trustee, Jasmine is committed to ensuring every voice is heard and represented while advocating for student success, well-being, and safe, inclusive learning environments for all learners. Glenn Bunston Chair: Investment Committee BIO X Glenn Bunston Glenn Bunston is a CFS Charter holder and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba. He completed the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation in March 2011. He has been actively involved with his local professional society, CFA Society Winnipeg, for many years serving in numerous capacities including President. Glenn is currently on the board of the Victoria Hospital Foundation and serves as the chair of the investment Committee and is a member of the investment Committee of the University of Manitoba’s endowment fund. Glenn is also currently the Chair if the Manitoba Regional Council of the Pension Investment Association of Canada (PIAC). Glenn has 25 years of experience in the capital markets focusing on the fixed income, equity and money markets, foreign exchange and interest rate risk management and asset allocation. He is the Director of Asset Liability Management and investments at Manitoba Public Insurance, where he is responsible for a multi-asset class and multi-manager portfolio with assets of approximately $4.0 billion. Recently Glenn has been focusing a significant amount if his time on unlisted infrastructure investments, asset-liability management and interest rate and inflation risk management strategies. John Ferris Committees: Development, Governance X John Ferris Shane Li Chair: Development Committee, Committee: Investment BIO X Shane Li Shane Li has a B.Comm. (Hons.) degree, an MBA in Finance, and a Master of Science in Management from the University of Manitoba and has both the Chartered Business Valuator (CBV), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) and Certified in Production and Inventory Management(CPIM) designations. Shane served as the President of North Forge East Business & Technology Incubator, the Senior Economic Development Officer of the Municipality of Pinawa, the Chief Financial Officer of Treaty One Nation, and an Instructor at the University of Manitoba’s Asper School of Business. Further, Shane has been appointed by the Government of Manitoba as a board member of the University of Manitoba Board of Governors, Vice-Chair of the University of Manitoba Finance and Infrastructure Committee, a member of the Manitoba Immigration Advisory Council, a member of the Manitoba Innovation Growth Program and Research Manitoba in the Review Committee and the Mentor at the Futurpreneur. Grace Lozano X Grace Lozano Glen MacAngus Committee: Development BIO X Glen MacAngus Glen has worked in residential and commercial real estate under the Royal LePage umbrella for almost 40 years, awarded #1 Producer for 27 of those years. Born, raised and educated in Winnipeg, he’s watched it grow and develop to what it is today. Glen grew up in South Winnipeg and has raised his own family not far from ‘home’, keeping a strong connection with the community believing in the importance of giving back. Glen has been married to his wife, Monika for 33 years most of which she has worked alongside him as administrator. They have raised two children. Their daughter Sydney is married with two beautiful children who have presented a new joy in his life and son Cameron joined him to form The MacAngus Team in 2020, proudly working side by side. Glen enjoys his cottage at West Hawk Lake and the short ride takes him there at every opportunity year-round. Hockey and golf are life sports that are enjoyable both on and off the ice and course, through which lifelong friendships have developed. Luckily for Glen, his kids developed the same love for team sports and he spent most of their childhood in arenas, school gyms, track and soccer fields, grateful for a profession that made this possible. Glen’s relationship with the Victoria Hospital began in 2001 with the Medicine and Miracles campaign and has remained strong through the years, continuing on even after his 3 terms on the board concluded. Glen and Monika co-chaired the Miracle Garden Party for 2 years and continue to support the event annually. Glen is also involved with D.A.S.C.H. (Direct Action in Support of Community Homes Inc.), not only assisting in their home searches, but through personal and financial commitment. Glen’s involvement in both of these has extended to Monika and his children. As Glen appreciates loyalty in his own career, he recognizes long-term commitment to The Victoria Hospital and Foundation is important for its success and progression. Deborah O’Bray Committee: Governance BIO X Deborah O’Bray A proud and passionate Winnipegger, Deborah has a distinguished history of service to others at the local, national, and international levels. She is a Past Chair of the Project Management Institute (PMI), Food Banks Canada, and the Downtown Winnipeg Business Improvement Zone, and has also served on the Boards of the Canadian Cancer Society Manitoba Division, Meals on Wheels Winnipeg, and the PMI Educational Foundation (PMIEF). Deborah was named a Fellow of PMI in 2009. Deborah and her family enjoy exploring food and wine and visiting new countries. Aaron Pollock Committees: Development, Governance BIO X Aaron Pollock Aaron Pollock BA, B.Env.D, M.Arch MAA, MRAIC Aaron is an Associate and Architect with Number TEN Architectural group. With over a decade of experience, he brings a wealth of knowledge to cultural, community and multi-use projects in Winnipeg and beyond. He is an active member of the Winnipeg design community and a proud advocate for social change through his volunteer work with Rainbow Resource Centre and Victoria Hospital Foundation. Howie Raber Committees: Development, Finance & Audit BIO X Howie Raber Howie is a retired partner of EY LLP with a CPA, CA designation and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from the University of Manitoba. Over the course of his career, he held senior leadership roles with EY, Arthur Andersen, and Coopers & Lybrand (PwC), gaining extensive experience in enterprise risk management, governance, strategy, and advisory services across diverse industries in Canada and internationally. In addition to his professional work, Howie has contributed his expertise to numerous boards and not-for-profit organizations, particularly in healthcare and community service. Sue Tardi Committee: Governance BIO X Sue Tardi Sue is a seasoned executive and the President & Founder of Leaps&Bounds Consulting, where she helps leaders and their teams achieve transformative results by aligning people, culture, and strategy. For more than 30 years, she has partnered with organizations across private, public, and not-for-profit sectors, bringing a unique combination of strategic acumen, empathy, and results-driven leadership. At the heart of Sue’s work is a belief that organizations and communities thrive when people are supported to do their best work. She is known for building lasting partnerships grounded in trust, collaboration, and courageous conversations that drive meaningful change. Sue has also spent a number of years serving with United Way Winnipeg’s Campaign Cabinet and Major Donor Cabinet. Before founding Leaps&Bounds, Sue served as Senior Vice President and Group Head, Human Resource Solutions at People Corporation. She holds a Bachelor of Education in Business Teacher Education from the University of Manitoba and Red River College, and is an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation. She also holds certifications in change management, leadership facilitation, and emotional intelligence assessment (EQ-i 2.0 and EQ-360). Sheila Wilson-Kowal Committee: Finance & Audit BIO X Sheila Wilson-Kowal Sheila joined Cardinal in 2008 and spent over six years as a Financial Analyst with a focus on the consumer, healthcare and fertilizer sectors before she became a Portfolio Manager with the firm in 2015. Prior to joining Cardinal, Sheila worked as Manager, Capital Markets with the Canadian Wheat Board for five years. Sheila also worked as a Financial Analyst with IGM Financial. Sheila is a graduate of the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree majoring in Finance, and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Jessica Miller Chief Executive Officer BIO X Jessica Miller Jessica joined Victoria Hospital Foundation as its Chief Executive Officer in February 2025 and is proud to lead the Foundation in enhancing healthcare at Victoria Hospital and throughout our community. Most recently, Jessica was Chief Executive Officer of the Winnipeg Humane Society (WHS). Prior to the WHS, Jessica held a variety of roles with St. Boniface Hospital Foundation including Vice-President of Marketing and Communications. Jessica is an Institute of Corporate Directors, Directors Education Program graduate from Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, and has continued executive level education in Indigenous relations and reconciliation. Jessica sits on the Victoria Lifeline Board of Directors, the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy Board of Directors, and most recently, Villa Rosa. Jessica’s key strengths are in providing strategic direction, leveraging partnerships, and mentoring teams. Jessica holds a degree in Rhetoric in Communications, majoring in public relations from the University of Winnipeg. She also has also obtained a diploma in Creative Communications, majoring in public relations from RRC Polytech. Jennifer Bjarnarson (ex-officio) Chief Operating Officer, Victoria Hospital BIO X Jennifer Bjarnarson (ex-officio) Jennifer joined the Victoria Hospital as Chief Operating Officer on January 19, 2026, bringing extensive senior leadership experience from across Manitoba’s healthcare system. Her past roles include Executive Chief Operating Officer of Shared Administrative Services and Chief Financial Officer of Shared Health; Chief Administrative Officer at Health Sciences Centre; Chief Administrative Officer and Executive Director, Support Services at Grace Hospital. Jennifer holds a Master of Health Administration from the University of Regina and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA). Known for her operational expertise, integrity, and collaborative leadership, she is a strong advocate for employee engagement and supporting staff in delivering high-quality patient care. She is pleased to return to healthcare after serving as Chief Operating Officer at Johnston Group Inc.
