For Ted Foreman, helping others is something that has always been a natural instinct. “I just do it because I want to,” says Ted. “And I believe in it. I’ve been a giver all my life. That means collecting for Red Cross when I was a kid and collecting door-to-door donations for this and that.”

Giving Tuesday marks the beginning of the holiday season, and as in past years, the idea of brightening the holidays for kids and families in our community was paramount. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters and our partnerships with Toys “R” Us Canada and Ma Mawi Chi Itata Centre, Indigenous families in our community experienced the joy of opening presents together on Christmas morning.

This year's Miracle Garden Party took place on September 9th and raised an all-time high of over $163,000! The sold-out event was held across four local restaurants and blossomed into one of the best evenings in a long time. The festivities included live music from Nazeen with Special Guests and Garrett Neiles, an interview with Artbeat Studio and a live demo of our Telepresence robots.
