Quality Care

Everyone deserves high-quality care when needed. That’s why Victoria Hospital Foundation is dedicated to improving patient care through support for essential programs and services. By investing in solutions that adapt to patients’ needs and their unique backgrounds, we work to strengthen the quality of care for our community.

The dedicated healthcare professionals at Victoria Hospital, ACCESS Fort Garry, and Victoria Lifeline are essential to delivering quality care to our community. To ensure they can provide top-level care, we prioritize their growth, well-being, and access to the latest tools and training. By fostering a compassionate and supportive environment, we empower our staff to uphold the highest standards in patient care, enhancing health outcomes across all programs.

Mental Health

The demand for mental health services at Victoria Hospital in Winnipeg and throughout our community is rising, with around 1,500 adults seeking care here each year.

Victoria Hospital Foundation is committed to supporting mental wellness, healing, and recovery for those facing mental health challenges. We proudly fund initiatives such as Will & Mavis Tishinski Tranquility Trail—a well-loved greenspace at Victoria Hospital designed to support the mental wellness of our entire community and facilitate outdoor programming for patients in Victoria Hospital’s Mental Health program. We have also funded the Manitoba Blue Cross Mental Health Assessment Unit – a specialized space within Victoria Hospital’s Urgent Care department, designed to offer those most vulnerable a safe and private environment to heal during a time of crisis.

Patient Care

Quality care focuses on the unique needs of individuals and families, offering personalized, respectful, and dignified treatment to reach the best outcomes. Victoria Hospital Foundation proudly invests in equipment, facilities, and resources to ensure everyone receives the best possible care when and where it’s needed.

With community support, we created the Miracle Garden at Victoria Hospital—an award-winning space designed to nurture mental, physical, and spiritual health. This garden provides a welcoming environment for relaxation and renewal for people of all ages and abilities. Learn more about Victoria Hospital’s Miracle Garden.
