Helping Manitobans Live Safely & Independently

Victoria Lifeline

For more than 35 years, our community impact partner Victoria Lifeline has been helping Manitobans live with an extra layer of safety, peace of mind, and independence.

Victoria Lifeline’s Medical Alert service got its start operating from Victoria Hospital’s Emergency Department to support seniors and individuals with disabilities in maintaining independence. Victoria Lifeline remains a valued part of healthcare in our province and continues to make a positive impact on all hospitals, including Victoria Hospital.

Through a partnership with Lifeline Canada, they offer advanced technologies like fall detection and mobile services. Calls are handled by extensively trained Personal Response Associates, ensuring prompt and professional emergency assistance.

Proceeds from the Victoria Lifeline are reinvested through Victoria Hospital Foundation to support hospital healthcare initiatives and community projects, continuously advancing local healthcare.
