I’m passionate about how people access healthcare and, in particular, mental healthcare in our province and how we can make those pathways to care better – through improved system navigation, collaboration, early intervention, prevention, and timely care.

“I just do it because I want to,” says Ted. “And I believe in it. I’ve been a giver all my life. That means collecting for Red Cross when I was a kid and collecting door-to-door donations for this and that.”

Victoria Hospital Foundation has announced a gift of $100,000 from Canada Life in support of the recently opened Manitoba Blue Cross Mental Health Assessment Unit at Victoria Hospital. This gift represents a significant contribution to the Foundation’s $1.2 million commitment to this project.
